Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service are intended to define the basic matters regarding the conditions of use and operation of the services provided by Ark Academy (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”).

Member
A person who agrees to these Terms, provides the required personal information, completes the registration process, enters into a service agreement with the Site, and uses the services provided by the Site.Service Agreement

The cancellation or termination of the Service Agreement by a Member.
Article 3 (Supplementary Rules)
The Administrator may announce separate operational policies where necessary.
In the event of any conflict between these Terms and such operational policies, the operational policies shall prevail.
Article 4 (Formation of the Service Agreement)
The Service Agreement is formed when a person who intends to become a Member agrees to these Terms, submits an application for membership, and the Administrator accepts such application.
By selecting “I Agree” during the registration process, the applicant shall be deemed to have read and agreed to these Terms.
Article 5 (Application for Use of Services)
When applying for membership, the applicant must accurately provide the information requested by the Site (such as ID, password, nickname, etc.).
If a Member registers false information or misappropriates another person’s information, the Member shall not be entitled to claim any rights related to the use of the services and may be subject to penalties in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Article 6 (Protection of Personal Information)
The Site shall protect the personal information provided at the time of membership registration in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and the Privacy Policy.
Matters concerning the protection of Members’ personal information shall be governed by the Site’s Privacy Policy.
The Administrator shall not be liable for any disclosure of personal information caused by reasons attributable to the Member.
Where requested by relevant authorities in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, the Administrator may access or submit the relevant information.
Article 7 (Obligations of the Administrator)
If the Administrator determines that a Member’s opinion or complaint is justified, the Administrator shall endeavor to promptly process and resolve such matter.
In the event of unavoidable circumstances such as system failures, the Administrator shall make best efforts to restore the services without delay.
Provided, however, that the provision of services may be temporarily suspended due to force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters.
Article 8 (Obligations of Members)
Members shall comply with the following
Members shall comply with these Terms and Conditions, applicable laws and regulations, and any notices announced by the Site.
Members shall not transfer, assign, donate, or provide as collateral their rights to use the services to any third party.
Members shall be responsible for the management of their ID and password.
Members shall not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of the Site or any third party.
Article 9 (Service Availability)
In principle, the services shall be available 24 hours a day, seven (7) days a week.
The services may be temporarily suspended due to system inspections, maintenance, or other operational needs. In such cases, prior notice shall be provided.
If prior notice is not possible due to urgent circumstances, the notice may be provided after the fact.
Article 10 (Termination of the User Agreement)
A Member may request termination of the User Agreement at any time through the online process provided by the Site.
Upon termination, the Member’s right to use the services shall immediately cease, and any related information shall be processed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Article 11 (Restriction of Service Use)
If a Member engages in any of the following acts, the Site may restrict the Member’s use of the services or terminate the User Agreement
Registering false information;
Misappropriating another person’s information;
Impersonating the Site Administrator or related personnel;
Infringing upon the rights of others or defaming others;
Violating applicable laws and regulations.
Article 12 (Management of Posts)
The Administrator shall have the authority to manage posts and may delete or relocate any inappropriate content.
The Member who posts content shall bear full responsibility for such content.
In the event of a request by applicable laws or a competent public authority, posts may be removed or otherwise handled without prior consent of the Member.
Article 13 (Retention of Posts)
In the event that the operation of the Site is discontinued, the Administrator shall provide prior notice to Members and make reasonable efforts to facilitate the transfer of posted content.
Article 14 (Copyright of Posts)
The copyright of any content posted by a Member shall remain with the Member.
The Site shall have the right to use such posted content within the services for non-commercial purposes.
Members shall not commercially use content posted on the Site without the prior consent of the Site.
Article 15 (Indemnification and Damages)
A Member shall be solely responsible for any damages arising from causes attributable to the Member.
The Site shall not be liable for any damages resulting from force majeure events.
Article 16 (Disclaimer)
The Administrator shall not be liable in any of the following cases
Where a Member fails to obtain the expected benefits from the use of the services;
Where damages arise due to force majeure events, including but not limited to communication failures or system errors;
Disputes arising between Members or between a Member and a third party;
The reliability, accuracy, or legality of materials posted by Members.
Addendum (Supplementary Provision)
These Terms and Conditions shall enter into force on July 24, 2023.
